Course Description
Students independently perform experiments and demonstrations in classical and modern physics that are suitable for a high school setting. Laboratory work is emphasized, but other resources, such as demonstrations, curricular materials and computer programs will be explored. Students will prepare a lesson plan and practice teaching a 50-minute class. Tailored towards students considering a career in high school teaching. Phys 3110T is offered in the Spring semester.
