Course Description
Would you like to study a research-level problem in Physics? Consider registering for Phys 2900. Work on an individually directed study under the supervision of a Physics faculty. Offered on a satisfactory-fail basis only. (Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer)
To register on Workday:
- Obtain permission from a member of faculty from Condensed Matter, High Energy or Nuclear Physics
- Find their section in Phys 2900 on Workday. If no section exists for that instructor, request one be created via the link or QR code below.
- Once the section is in place, request a prerequisite override. (Search for OR look under the planning & registration section of your academic dashboard for Request Course Section Prerequisite Override. Enter the semester and course information and submit (it is not necessary to upload documents). Select Done.You will receive a notification when the override is approved.
- Register for the course on Workday in the usual way.
