Course Description
Interested in doing some observational astronomy? In this course you will learn how to operate a small telescope, point it at any object in the sky, obtain CCD images and analyze them. You will also learn how to work with online databases and programs. There will be a weekly meeting plus evening observation sessions. Astro 3440L is offered in the Fall.
