Course Description
Provides an overview of quantum computation and quantum information processing from a physics perspective. Introduction to classical computation; primer on quantum mechanics; quantum circuits and quantum algorithms; physical realizations; applications and near-term quantum algorithms. Phys 5220 is typically offered in the Spring semester but is not currently offered.
