Congratulations to Distinguished Professor Steve Kawaler, who has been awarded a National Science Foundation Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Grant for his group's project, "Convection, Oscillations, Outbursts, and Limit Cycle Behavior of the Coolest Pulsating White Dwarfs."
This two-year grant will support ongoing theoretical and observational research by Professor Kawaler and graduate students Anwesha Biswas and Ian Clark as they explore the fascinating behavior of these unique stellar objects.
