Congratulations to Prof. Charles Kerton, Associate Professor of Astronomy, for receiving the Cassling Family Faculty Award for the 2024-25 academic year. This prestigious award is presented annually to a faculty member in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in recognition of outstanding achievement in teaching. The Cassling Family Faculty Awards were established by Randal and Lori Cassling of Omaha, Nebraska, in honor of Randal's parents. Randal is a former student of Iowa State University, and both of his parents also attended in the institution.
