The faculty and staff of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Iowa State University will be hosting high school students to our Physics and Astronomy Extravaganza on Wednesday, April 23! During this event, students will get an inside look at our teaching facilities, cutting-edge research laboratories, and meet the dedicated people who help our students thrive.

This event isn’t just about learning – it’s about experiencing physics in action! Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a live demonstration, tour some of our lab facilities, and participate in different breakout sessions with faculty in our department.
