Title: Time-dependent CP violation at Belle II and LHCb: the next-generation B-factories in the mirror

Abstract: More than 20 years have passed since the first generation B-factories, BaBar and Belle, observed CP violation (CPV) in B-meson decays, establishing the Kobayashi-Maskawa structure of the weak interactions of quarks. Today’s new generation experiments, LHCb, and Belle II, are making ever more precise measurements of time-dependent CPV which could hint at deviations from our current theoretical understanding. In this talk, I will highlight their latest results, with a focus on the differences in analysis techniques used in the two experimental environments.
