Dr. Meyer received his PhD from Cornell University in 1971. He retired from ISU in April 2010 and stays active with the ATLAS group. Since retiring, he has performed outreach activities on behalf of ATLAS. Before retirement, he worked on the readout system for the ATLAS pixel detector and participated in studies for an upgraded pixel detector. On the BaBar experiment, he served as the Dectector Control and Monitoring Coordinator and as a Run Coordinator.
